HOW TO CHOOSE A LAWYER?
Your Lawyer is a real professional if he or she acts as follows:
- Asks you in details about all circumstances of the case instead of saying immediately that everything is clear and there is nothing easier than to win your case.
- Asks you whether it is possible to settle the case in amicable manner.
- Does not promise to get Decision of the Court within one month period but supposes the proceedings can be long and explains about potential methods to delay the process used by another party as well as the ways to counteract such delays, about the order of appeals, difficulties of Decision execution and how the Decision of the Court comes into force.
- Starts to work with the case provided the client is ready to co-operate with the lawyer and to present all necessary information, evidences, witnesses, etc.
- Informs you on the circumstances you will meet in the proceedings and about his or her relevant reaction, explains you on your rights and the manner to use them, instructs you for unforeseeable situation like unexpected evidences presented by another party, or false evidences, or some deeds by a Judge. Thus he or she reduces the natural stress of the client and gets a partner in your person.
- Motivates and agrees with you all steps in the course of proceeding, explaining all variants of consequences, as well as all weak points and peculiarities of juridical situation and insisting on your good awareness of the above before the start of the proceedings. He or she never makes decision instead of you.
- Gets you and witnesses prepared to the proceedings through detailed interrogations paying attention at favorable and unfavorable statements; rejects a witness if there is a doubt on whether this can tolerate the Court interrogation; excludes false evidences as it will be clear to experiences members of the proceedings and undermines the faith to other evidences.
- Prepares documents thoroughly, actively picks and looks for new evidences making documents in the manner easy for understanding by ordinary people.
- After the proceedings has been finished regardless of its results studies the Protocol of the Session of the Court and, if necessary, presents remarks as for the Protocol.
